MSRC Director Pete Gutierrez to be honored with The Roger J. Tierney Service Award

The Roger J. Tierney Service Award recognizes time and effort given by an AAS member to advance the association’s principles, growth and development, and/or for applied contributions to the fields of suicidology and crisis intervention. The award is to recognize broadly defined service contributions which are to be distinguished from academic or research endeavors. This year’s recipient, Dr. Gutierrez, MSRC co-director is being recognized for his more than decade-long service to AAS through a range of Board positions, task forces, working groups, and suicide prevention efforts at the local, state, national, and international levels.
