The MSRC created an international group of members who are established military and suicide experts as a resource to the MSRC. The purpose of the membership program is for the MSRC and its members to have a collaborative forum to exchange ideas and resources.
To be considered established, members must have an terminal degree in their area of concentration (PhD, MD, PsyD, etc.) and significantly contributed to suicidology, military psychology, or closely related fields. A qualified member has published in multiple peer reviewed journals, presented at well-established conferences and is considered to be a leader or emerging leader in his or her field of research. To become a member an individual must undergo a highly selective process.
